The following are the Terms and Conditions for the use of MMUST Online Course Application. Please read them carefully. As a condition of your use of Online Course Application, you agree that you will abide by all applicable University rules, regulations and Codes of Conduct Policy.
You agree to use Apply Online only for lawful purposes and in a lawful way. Apply Online is offered conditionally on acceptance of these terms and conditions.
1. User Name and Password Security
- You are entirely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Username and Password
- You are entirely responsible for any and all activities that occur under your User Name and Password
- You agree to notify the University immediately of any unauthorized use of your User Name and Password or any other breach of security
- Amend, change or in any way alter any material downloaded from Application system.
If, in the University's reasonable opinion, you breach any of these terms or conditions, the University may:
- Suspend your access to application system
- Initiate criminal or civil prosecution against you
The University reserves the right to change terms, conditions or policies regarding accesses to and use of Online Course Application at any time. Continued use of Online Course Application after any such changes shall constitute your consent to such changes.
5. Privacy Statement
MMUST acknowledges and respects the privacy of individuals. The information you provide in this application is 'personal information' as defined by the MMUST statutes. It is collected and held by MMUST in order to process your application, admission and enrolment; to send you information regarding MMUST or third party courses or other university matters determined to be of potential interest to you; for administrative and statistical purposes; and (if this application isn’t accepted) to process your application in relation to other courses offered by MMUST or related parties that may be of interest of you. MMUST will not disclose your personal information without your consent and without due cause, except as authorized by law. You have the right to refuse this consent, but if the consent is not given your application may not be processed. By signing this document you accept these conditions.
6. Data Protection Consent
By applying through the Online application system, you consent to the collection, processing and secure storage of your personal data for admission purposes. Your data will be protected and used only as required by university policies and applicable laws. You have the right to access, update, or request deletion of your data. 7. Declaration
I declare that the information declared on this form is complete and correct. I authorize the University to obtain information from any educational institution previously or currently attended by me. If any information supplied by me is considered to be untrue, incomplete or misleading in any respect, I understand the University may take such action as it deems necessary including the disclosure of the information to any person or body the University considers has a legitimate interest in receiving it and I consent to such disclosure. I understand the University reserves the right to vary or reverse any decision made on the basis of untrue, incomplete or misleading information. I have made this application having had access to sufficient information regarding MMUST programmes, courses, fees, costs, facilities and services. I understand the University reserves the right to make alterations to any matter offered in this publication without notice and that this agreement does not remove my right to take further action under the Kenyan consumer protection laws.
